I love folklore so much because depending on the location and era it comes from it’s either the most terrifying concept or the dumbest thing you’ve ever heard
Mexican Folklore: You think this place is a Normal Location? Tch. You fool. Everyone knows this place is the SCARY Location.
British Folklore: There’s a little Beast in your house… make sure you give it the necessary porridge……. otherwise it might turn to mischief…….
German Folklore: For the love of God, do NOT trust hot people and do NOT trust babies and do NOT trust short men and do NOT trust Christmas and do NOT trust sausage and do NOT trust the elderly and
US Folklore: This Giant Boy From Texas Is God’s Favorite
fucker finally broke twitter permanently I think, or put refreshing your timeline and tweeting behind paywall
he IS putting tweeting behind a paywall! and reading tweets! oh my god
it only appears to work on a tweet’s reply page and not the timeline: notifications aren’t rate limited, so you can use any notification to reach a tweet page. i mention this because i want people to DDOS them using their own awful coding. just leave the page on. tabbing out seems to stop the loop, so you might want to just leave it as an active window and do something else. you too can make twitter die faster
holy shit you’re right, it seems to be stuck in a loop
idk about you but i’m a sucker for the we just had sex and it’s the morning after and i woke up to an empty bed and how could i be so stupid of course you left me alone but wait you’re in my kitchen cooking me breakfast and i’m so relieved trope
This beaver is a rehab animal. He was found on the side of the road when he was no bigger than a potato. He is still young in this video (you do not realize how big adult beavers are, trust me) and is not ready to leave his home or family. Yes, beavers are social and they live in families. For him, his rescuer is his family. But he will be ready to leave at the age of two or three, when a wild beaver would leave his parents and seek out a territory of his own.
Anyway, he gets plenty of outdoor time and is also being taught to swim and do normal beaver things. He WILL eventually be released. So him building a dam out of plushies is not as sad as it might seem.
The truth is, animals are typically happy if they get to exercise their instincts, even if the environment is an artificial one. But in general, a wild animal should be either in the wild or in a captive setting that replicates its natural environment. Beavers are NOT good pets. Fortunately, this guy is not being kept as a pet. So it’s okay. Enjoy the video, and check out Raising The Wild on YouTube if you want updates.
